We are back from 4 months in San Francisco and settled back into our New York studio with new collections of work. Take a look at our Autodesk Artist in Residence Final Presentation for a preview of the new body of works, soon to be posted on our site.
Robotics and digital manufacturing has always been a major focus of our studio. 3D milling, 3D printing, 3D scanning are tools we use as way to express our form finding and design process.
The latest machine we have been accessing and pushing the limits of its capabilities is a 5 axis DMS Router. We are working on a new collection of sculptures with the intention of creating complexity with full robotic production. Our first test is complete and we are now cutting new forms and materials.
We have relocated our New York office to San Francisco for the next 4 months creating a new collection of work.
We have teamed up with Autodesk at Pier 9 for an Artist-in-Residency which gains us access to an amazing set of CNC machines and 3D printers.
We are now settled and the studio is up and running. Creativity is at a peak and starting a design process. We are excited about our new ideas and projects. New designs will be released shortly.
